RUSSIAN MARKET OF PROFESSIONAL MOBILE RADIO AND CRITICAL COMMUNICATIONS: CURRENT STATE, PROBLEMS, PROSPECTS

Keywords: professional mobile radio, critical voice, critical data, McWiLL.

The characteristics and audience of professional mobile radio and critical communication networks are reviewed. The analysis of professional mobile radio technologies used in Russia and the prospects for the development of this segment of the telecommunications market is carried out, as well as its volume is estimated in the five-year perspective. It is shown that McWiLL broadband professional radio communication technology not only solves the urgent problems associated with the modernization of morally and physically obsolete systems of departmental and corporate trunking communications, but also opens up new opportunities for the growth of the market for critical information transmission services.

ENSURING THE SECURITY OF PROFESSIONAL RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IN CRITICAL INFORMATION STRUCTURES

  • G.O. Bokk, LLC NSTT, director of research, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); bookg@yandex.ru
  • A.O. Shorin, LLC NSTT, technical director, Ph. D.; as@nxtt.org

Keywords: SoC chip, unauthorized impacts, peripherals, 5G, open system model X.200.

Some existing and expected in the near future scenarios of unauthorized impacts on communication systems in critical information structures are considered. It is demonstrated that the area of increased risk of nauthorized impacts is focused on the interfaces between the peripheral devices and the SoC chip. Several examples of organizing multiple subscriber terminals into groups operating under a single program of unauthorized influence, in which the level of penetration can increase many times, are given. It is noted that such opportunities are real in the transition to 5G generation systems, which assume the M2M mode of operation.

SYNCHRONIZATION IN TIME-DUPLEX RADIO SYSTEMS

  • G.O. Bokk, LLC NSTT, director of research, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); bookg@yandex.ru
  • R.S. Averyanov, LLC NSTT, production director; ars@nxtt.org

Keywords: synchronization algorithm, OFDM, TDD, mobile radio networks, maximum likelihood criterion, multipath propagation.

Operation in synchronization mode of the McWiLL standard communication system, using the organization of radio communication with time duplex, is considered. A basic version of the optimal algorithm for processing single synchronization measurements is obtained, which is focused on working in a channel with white Gaussian noise at unknown but stable spectral distortions of the signal. Based on the developed algorithm, many variants of statistical accumulation of measurements for the synchronization mode in non-stationary conditions are proposed. Using multipath propagation models approved by international recommendations, the best variants of synchronization algorithms with accumulation are identified.

HANDOVER ALGORITHM OF THE McWiLL SYSTEM IN THE MODE OF RADIO CHANNEL RESOURCE ALLOCATION CONFLICT ELIMINATION

  • R.S. Averyanov, LLC NSTT, production director; ars@nxtt.org

Keywords: adaptive antenna array, base station, conflict-free resource allocation, spatial selection, cross-correlation, reference signals.

The McWiLL system handover mode, designed to eliminate conflicts in the distribution of radio channel resources, focused on the spatial selection of radio signals of subscribers of neighboring base stations, carried out by 8-element adaptive antenna arrays, is considered. An algorithm for ontrolling the adaptive antenna arrays of base stations, focused on eliminating conflicts at maximum loads, is described. The description of the spatial selection algorithm, focused on conditions of the possible absence of line-of-sight traces and, as a result, arbitrary laws of the amplitude-phase distributions of the fields on antennas, is given. A numerical relationship is
established between the energy reserve at the edges of the service areas and the equivalent angular distance between subscribers, sufficient for conflict-free spatial separation of identical spectral-time resources. It is shown that the input of a controlled delay parameter in the synchronization mode will allow the implementation of spatial separation of subscribers served by a single base station in the McWiLL system.

INTERFERENCE RESISTANCE OF THE McWiLL SYSTEM

  • O.A. Shorin, LLC NSTT, general director, professor, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); oshorin@nxtt.org
  • G.O. Bokk, LLC NSTT, director of research, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); bookg@yandex.ru

Keywords: interference resistance, OFDM, mobile radio networks, maximum posterior probability, multipath propagation.

Problems of interference resistance of algorithms of digital processing of received signals for the McWiLL communication system are considered. Particular attention is paid to the correction of the amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency distortions of the radio channel in conditions of extremely low signal-to-noise ratios. The potential for improving the sensitivity index for multipath signal propagation is assessed. The best algorithms are identified. It is established that for the frequency range of 340 MHz McWiLL system subscribers moving at speeds up to 6 m/s can be perceived as stationary when considering the interference resistance issues.

MODELING A DECAMETER RADIO LINK IN PREDICTING THE RELIABILITY OF COMMUNICATION

  • N.N. Semerkov, JSC Russian Institute of Powerful Radio Engineering, leading researcher, Ph.D.(Mil.); vh77@mail.ru
