SPACE-TIME ANALYSIS OF HETEROGENEOUS WIRELESS SYSTEMS

The new approach to the analysis of the heterogeneous wireless network that combines the study of temporal dynamics and spatial properties of the system is proposed. The scenario assuming the heuristic mechanism of access network selection and intelligent utilization of different radio access technologies for balancing of user traffic is considered. The developed space-time analysis is illustrated by the typical example for which the user session blockage probabilities during access to the network are given. It is shown that the combined use of several radio technologies increases network capacity and quality of the user connection.

METHOD OF DETERMINING OF LOCAL COORDINATES IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS

The article is devoted to the search for spatial coordinates of nodes of a large wireless sensor network. The technique for calculating coordinates of sensor nodes in a large wireless sensor network by means of kriging is proposed. The technique makes it possible to increase the accuracy of positioning of network sensors. The proposed methodology can be used in networks designed for monitoring of environmental parameters over vast and remote areas.

ANALYSIS OF D2D CLUSTERING IN 5G NETWORK

The problems of clustering of D2D-devices in mobile networks including 5G networks are considered. The results of the analysis of out-of-band clustering for ensuring the quality of service of D2D-devices are presented. The model of throughput distribution in the cluster and analysis of the impact of users' distribution in the service area on network throughput are presented. The results obtained can be useful for choosing or development of the clustering method.

MODELING OF IMPACT OF THE IoT TRAFFIC ON QUALITY OF SERVICE

The model of the network traffic that takes into account the presence and properties of traffic of the Internet of Things (IoT) is considered. The analysis of the properties of the aggregated traffic at the input and output of the service system is provided. The analysis of the influence of the IoT traffic on the quality of service is presented. The model of the node, which serves aggregated traffic flow consisting of the IoT traffic and person-to-person traffic, is proposed. Results of the simulation for each traffic flow service parameters are presented.

INSERTION LOSS AND HEAT GENERATION OF MICROWAVE FILTERS OF HIGH POWER TRANSMISSION FEEDER LINE

Theoretical and experimental determinations of insertion loss and heat generation of the band-stop filter with dielectric resonators are presented. This filter is designed to solve the problem of electromagnetic compatibility of high-power transmitter of upgraded Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) by suppressing its radiation in the frequency band of the international radio astronomy service 1610,6−1613,8 MHz. The possibility of minimization of heat generation of the band-stop filter due to the improvement of its design and tuning technology is shown. The results of calculations are based on the modeling of frequency dependences of the complex scattering matrix of the three-link band-stop filter and amplitudes of polarization currents of dielectric resonators, as well as on the experimental data of test measurements of scattering matrix elements of the filter.

The technique of satellite ephemeris adjustment on the basis of results of the goniometric measurements which are carried out during pointing of antenna system is considered. The results of calculation which confirm the efficiency of the proposed methodology are presented.

ANALYSIS OF RADAR SIGNATURES' CHARACTERISTICS OF ROAD OBJECTS IN THE COLLISION AVOIDANCE AUTOMOTIVE RADAR SYSTEM

The method and results of the investigation of radar signatures of road objects in the collision avoidance automotive radar system (ARS) are considered. Results of the application of this method for processing of radar images (RI) of a traffic situation obtained on the basis of full-scale tests of the experimental ARS prototype are presented. Statistical characteristics of RI-signatures of various road objects are analyzed. Results of the analysis of stability and the aspect ratio dependency of radar images of road situation are presented.

The method of implementation of self-heterodyne optical receiver for fiber-optic communication systems, which allows simplifying the design, is proposed. Numerical investigation of its effectiveness is carried out.

OPTIMUM CORRECTION OF ATTENUATION OF CARRYING LASER BEAM IN DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS OF COMMUNICATION AND CONTROL

Problems of optimization of attenuation correction of the carrying laser beam in distributed systems of communication and control have been analyzed. The model problem of compensation of laser beams intensity attenuation in such systems is considered. The problem of optimum multiplicative correction of laser beams intensity attenuation upon imposed limitation on power parameters of used signals is formulated and solved. The applicability of derived results both for distributed laser communication network and system of laser illumination of guided missiles is shown. The proposed optimization model is also applicable for correction of transmitter signal.

THE CONCEPT OF COGNITIVE DATA PROCESSING IN THE SYSTEM OF PERMUTATION DECODING OF NONBINARY REDUNDANT CODE

The two-step procedure for permutation decoding of Reed-Solomon code is presented. At the first stage, soft solutions of non-binary symbols are formed. To do this it is introduced the new rule of forming their likelihood coefficients. It is shown that the properties of the introduced parameter for different signal-to-noise relations should be taken into account in the cognitive map of the decoder. To implement the second stage of decoding, the system of fast matrix transformations in Galois fields is introduced for the first time. The estimation of the gain of the proposed algorithm by the number of arithmetic operations in such fields in comparison with the classical method of permutation decoding is presented.
