Assessment of electromagnetic compatibility on introduction of advanced radio technologies
In article the analysis of a shared problem of radio-frequency maintenance of perspective radio technologies, defined specificity of radio interfaces UMTS/HSPA + and LTE. On the basis of this analysis are shown of the basic features of an estimation Ems for introduction of the given technologies.

VLF vector receiver: location finder and storm indicator
The article establishes the necessity of carrying out vector measurements pertaining to the electromagnetic field parameters of VLF radio waves in radiophysical and radio communication applications. Algorithms and software have been elaborated for the hardware-software complex, which performs the reception of VLF radio waves and processing of the received field three polarizations.
The article is of interest for geophysicists and radio engineers.
The main objective of the article consists in improving the accuracy of VLF measurements and developing the mobile direction finding equipment offering radically new capabilities.

Designing antenna arrays to be mounted on available support poles
The article systematizes and generalizes the experience of development and use of modern antenna array construction technologies to fit the existing support. Article lists ways to form feed data and construction approaches allow considering the factors defining (choice, creation) the location and type of the antenna array. It also describes the functional area and major features of direct, optimization, engineering, combined, intellectual and reconstructive design. The article lists major stages of design evolution: typical, extensive, intensive and analytical. Examples of specific design decisions are listed. Key words: choice, creation ,reconstructive design.

Slightly protruding wideband printed antennas
The solution of the problem of synthesis on the given field of the antenna of the flowing wave on the base of strip lines using one-sided impedance boundary conditions on the rib structure and two-sided impedance boundary conditions on the loaded half-transparent double-periodical structure was considered. It enabled to create the regulated connection between radiating elements and a feeding line in the antenna with a small electric length.

A horizontally directed reject pattern antenna
The problem of suppression in the narrow sector of horizontal plate with rectangular shield with slot and annular shield was considered. The main criteria of radiation suppression and numerical value of the main parameters of diagram pattern for above-mentioned shield type was given. Probabilistic estimation of ultrashorts electromagnetic pulses’ influence on data transmission in Ethernet networks
The article presents the main results of theoretical consideration of the effect of electromagnetic pulses induced in the physical media ultrashort electromagnetic influences on the process of transmitting data in the Ethernet. The dependence of errors probability at the data layer on the parameters of electromagnetic influences. Estimated data are confirmed by natural experiments.
