  • A.I. Paramonov, SPbSUT, department of communication networks and data transmission, professor, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); alex-in-spb@yandex.ru
  • A.E. Koucheryavy, SPbSUT, head of the department of communication networks and data transmission, professor, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); akouch@mail.ru

Keywords: telecommunication network with ultra-low latency, digital cluster, quality of service, QoS, latency, traffic, service model, service provision point.

The paper presents the results of the analysis of the impact quality of service (QoS) requirements on the structure of the communication networks of the fifth and subsequent generations. The concept of a network digital cluster is introduced. It is proposed a model that allows you to choose the size of a network digital cluster, taking into account the requirements for QoS of subscriber traffic and territory distribution of users. The model allows you to create a network structure of digital clusters, taking into account various requirements and user traffic. A method for the location of service delivery points, using the proposed model to select the sizes of digital clusters is considered. The results can be used in modeling and planning of communication networks of the fifth and subsequent generations.

DISTRIBUTED INTELLIGENT COMMUNICATION NETWORK ARCHITECTURE FOR UNMANNED VEHICLES

  • A.S.A. Muthanna, SPbSUT, department of communication networks and data transmission, associate professor, Ph.D.; ammarexpress@gmail.com

Keywords: clustering, D2D, MEC, SDN, unmanned vehicles.

The article presents the network architecture for supporting unmanned vehicle applications, requiring ultra-low latency. The proposed architecture uses technologies of mobile edge computing (MEC) and software-defined networks (SDN) to increase the overall reliability of the network and its scalability in conditions of high traffic density. A clustering method for D2D devices is also being considered to provide network coverage for centrally inaccessible nodes. Evaluation results using realistic conditions for various network scenarios show that the proposed architecture with MEC/SDN support provides a 74% increase in network performance in terms of blocking network tasks compared to the underlying architecture.

CALCULATION TECHNIQUE OF EVALUATION THE ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY OF RADIO-ELECTRONIC DEVICES WITH WEAKLY DIRECTED ANTENNAS PLACED ON LAUNCH VEHICLES

Keywords: electromagnetic compatibility, radio-electronic devices, weakly directed antennas, launch vehicle, diffraction theory.

Based on asymptotic methods of diffraction theory, a method for calculating the electromagnetic compatibility of radio-electronic devices with weakly directed antennas placed on launch vehicle and spacecraft is proposed.

Keywords: electromagnetic environment, frequency band, emission sources, interference, emission spectrum, emission characteristics, three-dimensional emission distribution diagram, emissions parameters guidelines.

The article describes the technology of complex radio monitoring of emissions from multiple radio sources. The measurement data are compared with the permitted emission levels. The application of the technology helps to assess the conditions for the propagation and reception of radio signals, planning the use of the radio frequency spectrum, identifying interference and other problematic situations related to electromagnetic compatibility of existing and promising radio facilities.

8-BIT FORWARD ERROR CORRECTION CODES IN LINEAR NETWORK CODING

  • S.S. Vladimirov, SPbSUT, department of communication networks and data transmission, associate professor, Ph.D.; vladimirov.opds@gmail.com

Keywords: network coding, maximum length code, Hamming code with additional parity check, shortened BCH code.

The article provides a comparative analysis of three different types of 8-bit forward error correction codes for network coding systems. Using mathematical modeling, the probability characteristics of the considered 8-bit forward error correction codes are calculated for two network topologies used in network coding systems. Recommendations on the use of the considered codes are given.

DEVELOPMENT OF A SIGNAL-CODE CONSTRUCTION FOR UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE CONTROL CHANNELS

Keywords: multipath, deep fading, spread spectrum signal, matched filter, embedded PNS, signal-code construction, Reed-Solomon codes.

Various variants of signal-code constructions for secretive UAV control channels in the conditions of low declination angles are investigated. The channel model takes into account mobility, multipath, and the phenomenon of error packing. In constructing the signal-code constructions, an approach based on the equivalence of the considered model and some generalized model with error packing and channel coding based on Reed-Solomon codes was used. The results, confirming the feasibility of using Reed-Solomon codes, are obtained.
