On the basis of the analysis of the processes occurring during the monitoring of VPN security it is concluded that the monitoring system should meet the following basic requirements: continuity of monitoring the contrast of VPN in feature space of the Uniform Telecommunication Network of the Russian Federation; continuous monitoring of signs of illegitimate network streaming and computer intelligence; the continuity of the monitoring of signs of DDoS attacks; guaranteed detection of computer network intelligence and DDoS attacks; accurate assessment of damage and ability of the VPN nodes to provide the required services to specified subscribers. The complex algorithm of counteraction to the DDoS attacks and attacks aimed at illegitimate collection of network data is developed.
