ACTUAL ISSUES OF RUSSIAN AND EUROPEAN NUMBERING

L.A. Kozadaeva, FSUE ZNIIS, leading researcher; kozadaeva@zniis.ru

Actual issues of Russian and European numbering are presented. In Russia, it is important to finish the implementation of new numbering, started in 2006 and planned to be completed in 2020. It is necessary to complete the transition to short numbers 1UVxx from the numbers 0X (X) and start the transition to new national trunk and international prefixes 0 and 00 from the existing prefixes 8 and 8−10. Transition to new prefixes will return to numbering resource one million numbers in each of the 83 ABC codes and will streamline the use of short numbers. In addition, it is necessary to eliminate the discrepancy between the current practices of using numbering and some provisions of «Russian System and Numbering Plan», taking into account the changes that have taken place in communication technologies since 2006. For European numbering, it is relevant to improve the existing regulatory framework for effective development of M2M and OTT services and creation for them a sufficient numbering/identification resource and conditions for the development of competition.

ROUTING OF TRAFFIC IN D2D WIRELESS NETWORK

A.S. Borodin, representative of PJSC Rostelecom in ITU, Ph.D.; aleksey. borodin@rt.ru
A.I. Paramonov, The Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SPbSUT), department of communication networks and data transmission, professor, Dr.Sci.(Tech.); alex-in-spb@yandex.ru

A method for selecting routes in a D2D wireless communication network is proposed. Two approaches to the choice of routes by the criterion of maximum throughput, taking into account co-channel interference and traffic produced by network nodes, are considered. The results of the analysis of the influence of user terminals density on the interference and the length of the route are also given. The results can be used in choosing a network logical structure and in the development of traffic routing protocols.

It is proposed the transition from the SFN structure with the distributed modification of the federal multiplex programs having a number of financial and technological problems to network structure, which provides the required data transmission speed, the required stability margin, technical feasibility in operation in various regions of the Russian Federation, which excludes technical shutdowns and defects of regional SFN networks.

V.V. Durygin, JSC Voentelecom, deputy chief of staff of the chief designer; v.durygin@voentelecom.ru

The issues of network operation in adverse, dynamically changing conditions, such as low bandwidth, long delays, and jitter, loss of a large number of packets, are considered. The problems arising in connection with the behavior of the TCP protocol in these conditions, such as re-request flows, buffer overflows, dips in speed due to the mechanism of dealing with overloads, are analyzed. The way to recover damaged and lost data instead of re-queries by adaptively adding error correction codes and data interleaving, including service information, as well as changing frame formats. is proposed. This approach implemented on the basis of Reed-Solomon nodes showed stable recovery of up to 23% of packets and the ability to operate at speeds of 2.4 kbit/s.

The problem of theoretical estimation of the error probability of coherent demodulators with multi-position types of linear modulation is solved. A universal basic function of two arguments, which determines the probability of occurrence the received signal in a given domain of space of Gaussian channel, is presented. A numerical method of layer-by-layer integration to calculate this probability, equal to the volume of the cut-out figure from a Gaussian surface, is introduced.

PROBABILISTIC ANALYSIS AND METHOD FOR PARALLEL EVALUATION OF SOLUTIONS OF ADAPTIVE FREQUENCY ASSIGNMENT ALGORITHMS

D.M. Silin, Geyser-Telecom Ltd, group leader; dsln@mail.ru

The priority-based adaptive algorithm for frequency assignment which changes solution according to currently used frequencies is considered. In this paper, the conflicts are considered as random events. We compute the probability of allowing frequency and the probability of the conflict occurrence. It is introduced a method for evaluation of solutions of frequency assignment algorithms which allows to execute different frequency assignment algorithms simultaneously and select the best of their solutions which minimizes the probability of conflict after frequency changes.
Keywords: frequency assignment, conflicting combinations, random conflicts, priorities, probabilistic analysis, evaluation of solutions, parallel computation.
