This work presents the statistical estimations analysis of underground optical telecommunication cables damageability for different technologies of cable laying. It is shown for in-premises links damageability of polymer duct non-armored loose tube cable is the less more than 2 times comparing to underground armored cables.

METHOD OF ANALYZING/SYNTHESIZING SIGNALS IN DATA TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS WITH FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLEXING

Multistage pyramidal system structure of signal analysis/synthesis with the formation of a baseband signal on multiple subcarriers is proposed.
Assumed that combining and separating of frequency channels with even and odd numbers on each converting steps is performed with digital comb filters. Filters differ in decimation of the impulse response with the decimation factor multiple of power of two.
Transition from singlestage to the multistage pyramidal system structure of signal analysis/synthesis allows to reduce the computational complexity in dozens of times.

APPLICATION OF MULTITHRESHOLD DECODERS FOR ERROR-CORRECTING CODES IN HIGH-SPEED DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS
It’s discussed of multithreshold decoders for self-orthogonal codes. Their bit-error rate performance over the Gaussian channel with QPSK modulation is compared with the performance of most effective modern error-correction methods. It’s shown multithreshold decoders may provide some better performance than turbo and low-density parity-check codes are used in real systems. Questions of using multithreshold decoders for error correction in optical networks are discussed. It’s shown the application of multithreshold decoders in such systems is very perspective and allows provide required performance. Several questions of application of multithreshold decoders with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing and multiple-input and multiple output technology for improving reliability of communication with unmanned vehicles are discussed. The performance of multithreshold decoders in such conditions is presented.

USING THE LINDLEY’S EQUATION FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF CORRELATED TRAFFIC PROCESSING

The article discusses the possibility of using the integral equation Lindley for general queuing systems processing correlated traffic.
It is shown that it is advisable to resample the implementation of traffic with uncorrelated counts. This operation can be made by using a system of orthogonal functions, which are obtained from the solution of the Fredholm equation where the kernel is the correlation function of the processed traffic.
It is shown that the probability density function of uncorrelated samples can be approximated by the model distribution based on the calculation of the cumulants of the analyzed sequences.

The article presents a universal method for determining harmonic distortion and noise output paths passing electrical signals with complex dynamic characteristics and instant polyharmonic and / or modulated input action. LOW COMPLEXITY MODIFICATIONS OF MIN-SUM DECODING ALGORITHM FOR LDPC CODES

Min-sum based decoding algorithms for LDPC were considered. New modification of min-sum algorithm was proposed, performance and convergence results of this modification are also shown.

MIMO IN HF-BAND. ESTIMATION OF THE MUTUAL IMPEDANCE OF ANTENNA SYSTEM TAKING INTO ACCOUNT MATCHING DEVICES

Typical solutions of HF-antenna system with matching devices are considered. Method of calculating the matching devices is considered. It is shown that the presence of matching devices leads to a change in mutual impedance. Should take into account the effect of matching devices on the channel capacity by in the HF range.

CONSTRUCTION OF MATHEMATICAL MODELS OF REEMITTING ELEMENTS AND METAMATERIALS ON THEIR BASIS

Fundamentals of mathematical models reemitting elements and metamaterials based on them are stated. Building models is realized on the basis of integral representations of the electromagnetic field in the thin-wire approximation. The mechanism accounting interelemental interaction through a generalized procedure of the Gauss — Seidel. Numerical simulation results are presented for some chiral elements and metastructures.

ORGANIZATION OF SELECTIVE EMERGENCY ALERTS IN RADIO BROADCAST NETWORKS

Timely emergency alerts could reduce civilian casualties. Alerting here means timely warning about upcoming danger and providing information about best survival practices. This paper suggests evolution of previously proposed emergency alerts organization scheme over existing radio networks. In particular it implies several control centers to improve certainty of emergency message. Further in this paper application of graph theory to formalize and analyze emergency alert organization schemes is substantiated. This allows accurate reliability and certainty analysis for each case.

In the article the scheme of adaptive communication system organization is proposed. In this system the wavelet functions are used for signals generation. The analysis of different types of hindrances influence on wavelet modulated broadband signals in communication channel is conducted. The algorithm of signals receipt and processing in adaptive broadband communication system based on correlator is proposed. The authenticity criterion of receipt information assessment is described. The selection algorithm of optimal value of parameters of generated function is proposed. The assessment of adaptive communication system effectiveness is conducted.
