The paper presents the results of an analysis of existing security profiles for telecommunications equipment, which showed that these profiles do not fully take into account the range of modern information security threats. Taking into account the identified shortcomings of existing profiles, a generalized protection profile for packet switching equipment at the data level is proposed, which contains proposals for the formation of filtering rules at the router border, operating on the principle of a coarse filter. It is shown that a set of more than 40 filtering rules included in the generalized protection profile makes it possible to block illegal network packets, preventing computer attacks on the software of the protected equipment.

INFLUENCE OF WATER PROPERTIES ON ACOUSTIC SIGNAL CHARACTERISTICS

I.I. Pavlov, Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Information Science, department of radio engineering devices and technosphere security, associate professor, Ph.D.; iipavlov02@mail.ru

Keywords: underwater acoustic channel, acoustic signal, propagation velocity, water temperature, water salinity, depth, attenuation coefficient.

The article deals with the problem of constructing and organizing an underwater acoustic communication channel (UACC) in oceanic or sea water. The effect of ocean or sea water properties on the propagation rate and attenuation factor of the acoustic signal in the UACC should be taken into account when modeling the UACC. The study investigated the effect of water temperature, water salinity and depth on the speed of acoustic signal propagation in oceanic or sea water. The effect of the properties of ocean or sea water on the attenuation coefficient of the acoustic signal was analyzed using the Thorp equation, the Fisher-Simmons equation, and the Ainslie-McColm equation.

The article discusses the optimization of the process of determining the probabilistic-temporal characteristics of a random process based on the method of topological transformation of stochastic networks. A modified method for determining the probabilistic-temporal characteristics of a random process has been developed, which makes it possible to remove the identified limitations of using the method of topological transformation of stochastic networks, which leads to a significant reduction in the time and volume of calculations.

M.L. Maslakov, Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, assistant professor, Ph.D.; maslakovml@gmail.com

Keywords: symbol error rate, message error rate, SITOR-B, GMDSS, fadingя, signal-to-noise ration.

A simulation model has been developed to analyze the probabilistic characteristics of the delivery of messages to ensure the safety of navigation, including distress signals in the global maritime distress and safety system (GMDSS). For a more refined analysis under conditions of low signal-tonoise ratio (SNR), which is typical for high-latitude paths, a fading model according to Nakagami’s law was used. The probability of delivering messages in SITOR-B mode, used for broadcasting, is shown. The probabilities of detecting an error in symbols and messages are analyzed.
