Realization of Avatar technology in spherical harmonics basis

The avatar-technology description as the bases of interaction of a person and a virtual reality is given in the article. The 3D objects representation formats and the availability of the spherical harmonics tools for the model description of a «human head» type is discussed. The examples of the program application developed in the Matlab environment are demonstrated. The algorithms of the normal definition to the surfaces determined by spherical harmonics are considered. The possibility of a complete description and a visualization of the avatar is shown.

Ways to assess and analysis a designed technological mobile radio communication network’s coverage capacity

Constantly increasing demands of users of technological telecommunications for quality of service, reliability of radio communication, transinformation content, time of the information delivery, etc. determine the relevance of the application of modern systems of digital mobile radio standards.
In this paper we develop an approach to the choice of system solutions, the characterization of parameters and hardware configuration in the design of a technological mobile radio network. We offer the criterion for determining the quality of radio coverage zones. On the basis of developed knoware and software, designed for planning a technological mobile radio network, an example of the calculation of radio coverage zones’ result is given.

 Simultaneous operation of xDSL-modems in a subscriber’s access network

For increase of efficiency of networks of user’s access in article it is spent issledo-vanie parametres and characteristics of digital linear signals of xDSL-modems on the basis of the analysis of the architecture, directing systems, electric parametres of multipair cables of networks of user’s access, classification of the basic technologies of xDSL-modems of symmetric and asymmetric digital user’s access, the analysis of technologies of coding and requirements to digital linear signals, the analysis of electromagnetic compatibility of one- and polytypic xDSL-modems and dependence of lengths of reclaiming sites of xDSL-modems of symmetric access on speed of transfer and type of directing systems.

European experience of using E.164 numbers for M2M applications and packet switching networks

Traditional telephone numbers according to ITU-Т Е.164 recommendation remain applicable not only in operating networks with switching channels, but in the future networks with packet switching (FPBN — Future Packet-Based Networks), as well. Now СЕРТ carries out researches for national regulators on use of numbers Е.164 to identify subscribers and devices in new technologies as Machine-to-Machine (М2М) applications and packet switching networks. Besides a choice of numbers range and format, it is important that for the coordinated interaction operators of different packet networks transform numbers Е.164 to identifiers of IP-protocol resources according to IETF Recommendations.
The authors hopes, that this information will be interesting for the operators of mobile networks and for the operators of packet-based networks when they use the telephone connections for the implementing new applications.
