The article describes the method of calculation of the necessary and sufficient content of group spare parts for repair and maintenance (SPRM) of communications equipment. Reasonable content of spare parts, on the one hand, provide the required reliability of communications equipment, and on the other, — reduce the costs of long-term storage of surplus stocks of replacement parts during operation. We have to, a rigorous theoretical justification content SPRM effectively. A concrete calculation shown: at a relatively low MTBF (slightly more than half the year) annual replenishment of spare parts is only 20% of the total number of the protected equipment.

Indexes of Quality of Service are the set of metrics that determine customer satisfaction characteristics of proposed services. The evaluation of these parameters is needed in the planning of telecommunication networks, their creation, and operation. In this paper, five basic problems are formulated. These problems are related to effective control of indexes established for multiservice traffic service. Statement of all problems is based on the analysis of the recommendations of the International Telecommunication Union and the experience gained by Russian telecommunication Operators.

APPROACHES TO ANALYZING OF QoS PARAMETERS IN NGN/IMS — NETWORKS

Quality of Service (QoS) is one of the main characteristics of any communications network, including network based on IMS-architecture. During call processing of different signaling messages in the IMS nodes delays occurs. The value of the delay varies depending on the type of service requested. The paper proposes an integrated approach to the analysis of the delay in different cases.

MODELS AND ALGORITHMS FOR CREATING TRANSPORT NETWORK IN THE FORM OF A VIRTUAL COMMUNICATION NETWORK

The article contains the models and algorithms necessary to create a transport network of VPN as an overlay network. They allow you to determine the required minimum bandwidth virtual transport network (VTN) that you want to allocate a resource of primary trunk of public communication network. The main difference between the proposed mathematical model and algorithm of formation of VTN — joint consideration of the topological structure of the primary network connection, which is realized on the basis of the PTS, and immediately the topological structure of the VTN, based on information on the number and distribution of traffic endpoints VTN possible routing algorithms flows and restrictions on network resources.

The problems of the influence of the electrically conductive support on the directional characteristics and cross-polarization isolation triorthogonal active receiving antenna HF range based on dipoles with different geometrical characteristics of the antenna. The results of calculations and experimental studies. The conditions under which the performance degradation due to the presence of the conductive support is low. The expediency of the use of metal supports, particularly as a part of quick-mounted radio communication systems.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES OF THE BASE EMITTERS FOR USE IN UNDERGROUND PHASED ARRAY ANTENNAS

The paper studies specific problems of construction of basic antennas used in underground phased antenna arrays. Aquasi-planar rectangular or sector (fan) dipole which shoulders are made of piecewise-isolated conductors is proposed as a basic antenna. In result, a two-tier dipole antenna is proposed as an underground antenna, which level of loss due to the surrounding dissipative medium as well as due to non-directional radiation and parasite polarization is minimized.

HIGH-SPEED ADAPTIVE HF DATA TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS

In this paper we consider the main problems of high-speed HF data transmission systems building for systems control. It has been shown that required communications reliability and data transmission rate can be provided by employing methods of system adaptation to conditions of radio wave propagation and interference. We consider the problem of choosing signal code construction that allows on the spot current signal parameters changing, error-control code and processing algorithm in order to achieve maximum possible rate given the current conditions and required reliability.
